If running an aftermarket exhaust, all dash errors are required to be cleared before flashing. You must unplug the SCR controller immediately AFTER, BUT NOT BEFORE flashing the ECU via the Tunezilla Portal App. Failure to do it in this order may cause dash errors to remain.
On Sprinter models, the SCR controller should be under the driver's seat. On most other models, the SCR controller can be found in the trunk under the spare tire: SCR Location picture (under driver's seat).
For all Delete Tuned ECU the following must also be unplugged:
UNPLUG SCR | This must be done before installing the tuned ECU (See above note) |
UNPLUG EGR | Failure to do so may result in rough & smoky cold starts |
UNPLUG Swirl Flap Motor | Failure to do so may result in rough & smoky cold starts |
UNPLUG DPF | Temperature Sensors must be unplugged |

UNPLUG NOx | Sensors must be unplugged |
