It's also a great upgrade for other vehicles that came equipped with the smaller IS12 and IS20 turbochargers, such as the 1.8T models and 2.0T GTI.
When installing an IS38 turbo as an upgrade you will need proper tuning to take advantage of the larger-sized turbo which can be found in our Tune catalog. The turbo comes with a wastegate that is factory-calibrated making the turbo ready for installation without the need for difficult calibration on or off the car.
