Especially for the MQB platform. The manual transmissions are notorious for having clutch slip with the additional torque from performance ECU tunes. If you have a DSG transmission, you've probably seen most Tuning companies recommend their DSG tune to go with their ECU tunes.As we are continually improving our tune offerings and updating our Instatune server with the latest revisions, we are always looking for ways to improve the driver experience. We want our customers to enjoy their car as much as possible without any caveats. And while we do offer Performance DSG Tunes to go with our ECU tunes, we have decided to also release a new 'Stage Plus' complimentary DSG Tune for MQB models with DQ250, DQ381 DSG transmissions.This new 'Stage Plus' TCU tune will be available on Instatune at no cost to users who purchase a Stage 1 ECU tune. Flashing the 'Stage Plus' TCU tune will increase the torque limiter in the transmission to work seamlessly with our High Torque ECU file, allowing you to unleash all the torque through your DSG. As a bonus, the Stage Plus TCU tune will also enable gear display in D and S modes (D1,D2, S1, S2, etc). The Stage Plus TCU tune does not change any shift points, and does not unlock any other features, such as our two-step Launch Control.

For a complete DSG tune, users may still opt to purchase our 'Stage 1/2' TCU tunes for their vehicles.

The 'Stage Plus' TCU tune will only be available through the TuneZilla Portal App using the FlashZilla Pro device. When flashing your TCU with the FlashZilla Pro device, it will automatically perform TCU adaptations following the flashing procedure and your car will go into the learning phase immediately after the flash is complete. Simply drive and let the DSG learn your habits.
