Our Development Team has been quietly testing our S3 over the Summer at our local drag strip. Part of this testing included our Haldex Spring Upgrade. But we were also testing our own Haldex Tune. The Haldex Tune is a small but important part of how we were able to achieve a 10.08sec 1/4, but more importantly, a 1.53sec 60'. The Haldex doesn't just play a role in drag racing, though. It also improves drivability for road course enthusiasts and daily drivers alike. With the Haldex Tuned, we can increase pump duty cycle for increased torque transfer to the rear wheels. We can increase torque transfer during cornering to promote oversteer to get the car to rotate sooner. Our tune also retains the factory decoupling settings when cruising to maintain fuel economy.Up until now, other Tuners required that you purchase a new module and physically replace the Haldex module on your car with theirs.
